Tai chi - Caspar Ingham
4th November 2020 –
Beginners welcome to practice the meditative movement of Tai Chi with Qi Gong in the warmup to increase vitality and the benefits of the practice. The gentle movements are great for all round health, relieving stress and aches and pains.
I have over 33 years’ experience as a meditation and martial arts practitioner which began when my Grandfather introduced me to Theravada Buddhist meditation. I began teaching meditation in 2008, this culminated in press coverage in The Indian Express Newspaper in India for teaching meditation to CEO’s on an Ayurvedic retreat centre in Kerala.
I’ve studied with many teachers, from eminent meditation coaches to Naga Baba’s on the Ghats of the Ganges and Shaolin Monks.
Ten years ago I went back to my original martial arts teacher that I trained with in the 1990’s, Lay Warrior Shaolin Monk Shi De Lon (31st Generation Lay Warrior monk) and Lay Warrior Shaolin Monk Shi Xing Lik (32nd Generation) and integrated all my studies into the meditative movement of Taiji and Qi Gong that I now teach.
All levels of students are welcome to join me training in the classes that I offer and especially absolute beginners are most welcome. You can find more information from my website: www.daoyogi.co.uk
